Mechanical Project Manager

Having been established over 50 years they benefit from being a preferred contractor for major blue chip clients, client include: ISG, Willmott Dixon, Barclays and HSBC. This means they have a continuous and stable workflow. Having appointed a new Managing Director and with a forecasted £30M turnover for the year the business is looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager.\nRole: Mechanical Project Manager - £70,000 - £80,000 + Package (this role will require to TRAVEL AROUND THE UK depending on the project you are assigned to).

Ideally looking for someone who has access to the M25.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of various building services projects around London and up to the Midlands from the values of £500K - £5m MEP value. Typically the company operates in the following sectors: Commercial Offices, Retail Banking and Government projects.\nRole/Responsibilities:\n * Programming\n * Technical Submittals\n * Procurement\n * RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors\n * Sub-contractor and Labour Management\n * Cost Control\n * Progress Reporting\n * Health & Safety\n * Project & Programme Implementation\n * Understanding of design and drawings\n * Technical & Progress Meetings\n * Regular Site Inspection and Snagging\n * Compilation of O&M Manuals\nThe ideal candidate:\n * Have 3-5 years’ experience managing multi-disciplined Mechanical Services Installations.\n * Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of Mechanical Services.\n * Experience working in the commercial sector.\nIn return they offer:\n * A healthy pipeline of work.\n * A real opportunity for growth and development.\n * The opportunity to move up the management ladder.\n * To join a business with excellent staff retention and family feel to it
