Repairs Surveyor

As a Repairs Surveyor, you’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality repair and void services, making sure all work meets Amplius standards while creating a positive experience for customers. If you’re passionate about excellent service and making a meaningful difference to people’s homes, this could be the perfect role for you.\nSalary: £44,858.80 per year (plus car allowance of £2,750.28)\nContract: Permanent, full time\nYour week: 36.25hrs Monday - Friday 9am – 5.15pm\nLocation: Home-based with site visits across Amplius’ central region 4 days per week, as well as monthly team days at the Peterborough office (Please refer to the attached document below for more information on the locations covered within our Central Region)\nSnapshot of your role\n * Identify and manage property defects in customer homes, ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard.\n * Carry out inspections and surveys, providing clear written reports and recommending the best solutions.\n * Review and respond to customer complaints, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and promises are kept.\n * Monitor contractor and service performance, including KPIs such as first‑time fix, customer satisfaction and completion times.\n * Undertake quality checks on completed works, ensuring compliance with health & safety, building regulations and internal standards.\n * Work collaboratively across teams, contributing to the overall performance of our homes and improving the customer repair experience.\nWhat we’re looking for\n * A building-related qualification or relevant professional experience.\n * Strong understanding of housing repairs, maintenance and common building defects.\n * Confident at carrying out surveys, diagnosing issues and recommending solutions.\n * Excellent communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.\n * High attention to detail with strong report‑writing and record‑keeping skills.\n * Ability to work independently, manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines.\nA full UK driving license is essential for this role.\nDBS clearance is required for this role.\nImportant - We do not provide visa sponsorship; you must be eligible to work in the UK.
