Restoration Technician

• £30,000 £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am 4:30pm
• No weekend working
• 40 hours per week

• Complete mechanical strip-down, rebuild, and reassembly of classic vehicles
• Diagnosis and rectification of mechanical and engineering faults
• Build-up of vehicles from bare painted body
• Road testing and final quality verification
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Ensuring all work meets the high standards expected in concours-level restorations
• Upholding the craftsmanship and quality reputation of the business

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Significant experience within classic car restoration or a premium automotive environment
• A solid amount of experience working with classic vehicles (essential)
• A strong mechanical background with relevant qualifications
• A meticulous and detail-driven approach to workmanship
• A genuine passion for heritage and performance vehicles
• Strong ability in traditional, hands-on mechanical craftsmanship

The role is based at a specialist automotive restoration facility in Beamish within the Red Row Estate. The working environment is professional yet relaxed, supporting highly skilled technicians in delivering exceptional restoration work.
